Monument Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 30, 2013 11:30 am – 2:00 pm |
Egg seekers will have a chance to bounce from shop to shop in downtown Monument to collect one egg at each location from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be coloring pages to be picked up in advance and dropped off the day of the hunt for a chance to win a prize. |

Monument Art Hop 3rd Thursdays of each month – May through September |
The galleries, restaurants and boutiques of historic downtown Monument stay open until 8:00pm for a celebration featuring art openings great food, live music and other special events.

Tri-Lakes Cruisers Benefit Car Show Sunday, June (TBD) 10:00 am – 3:00 pm |
Over 200 cars line the streets for a spectacular event. Over thirty-nine trophies are given away at this show. |

Summer Soul-stice Saturday, June (TBD) |
The Second Annual Summer Soul-stice event is a day-long community celebration featuring special merchant events, “Soul Train” hayrides, kids art activities, live music, food and a “paint-out” done by local professional artists painting in the traditional plein air style. Other events include face-painting, balloon art, potting plants, sidewalk drawing, music and other crafts. |

Concerts in the Park Every Wednesday Evening in June and July – 7:00pm-9:00pm |
Bring your chairs and enjoy music, food and fun for the whole family! The Concerts in the Park Series is held in Limbach Park. |

Monument Fourth of July Parade and Street Fair July 4, 2013 |
The Children’s Parade begins at 9:30 am. The Main Parade begins at 10:00 am. The Parade lasts approximately 2 hours and draws 20,000 to 30,000 spectators. |

HMMA Annual Chili Cook-Off and Tasting September (TBD) |
Get out your secret chili recipe, chop some chilies and fire up the stove! Cook a pot of chili and enter the annual HMMA Chili Cook-off. Food vendors, music and fun for the entire family! |

Safe Trick or Treat October 31, 2013 3:00pm to 5:00pm |
Bring the kids downtown for a night of safe trick-or-treating as Monument merchants provide treats, activities and show-off their creative costumes. The Monument Police Department patrols the streets to help insure the safety of our goblins. |

Small Town Christmas Saturday, December (TBD) 2013 |
This day full of holiday activities includes visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus along with crafts and activities for children, open houses and other special events as the merchants of Historic Downtown Monument celebrate a Small Town Christmas |
